Eventually, inevitably, somebody was going to do it - record their telephone conversations with 1&1's UK call centre. Simon Jones did this and wrote of his experiences on his website: Simon Jones website

We recommend a visit to Simon's website so that you can read (in his words) of his own ordeal. However, snapshots of the story on his webpage have been taken for 'posterity' - and will appear on this page.

One thing you will not find on Simon's website are the actual recordings of his telephone messages. Not to be outdone, we hoped that sooner or later that a visitor to our website would have copies of such recordings!

And, hey presto! In no time at all, copies of the recording were forwarded to us by a 'sympathetic' follower of our chronicles.

It should be made perfectly clear that it was NOT Simon Jones who sent the recordings. But due to the recordings being originally posted to his website, numerous copies were no doubt going to made by visitors to the appropriate webpage. Consequently, the same recordings were forwarded to us by one of Simon's early visitors.
